CCR Wreck diver

 

Purpose

This Program is designed to train divers in extended wreck penetration diving and the technical utilization of EANx for wreck exploration and the use of EANx and oxygen for decompression.

※Diver qualified on specific rebreather such as rEvo, Prism 2, Megalodon, Pathfinder, O2ptima, Inspiration Classic/Vision, Evolution, Evolution+, Kiss Classic, Kiss Orca spirit, Kiss GEM Sidekick m-CCR, SF2 Back mount/Side Mount , CCR Liberty

 

Prerequisites

  1. Must be qualified as an IANTD Deep Diver or equivalent.

  2. Must provide proof of a minimum of 70 logged dives or sufficient experience doing technical dives to satisfy the instructor that the student has the ability and knowledge to continue into this level of training.

  3. Must be qualified as an IANTD Rebreather diver.

  4. This course may be taught in conjunction with a CCR Normoxic Trimix or CCR Trimix Diver course.

  5. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

 

Program Content

  1. All lectures completed with IANTD Course-specific Slides pertaining to the theory in the IANTD CCR Wreck Diver Student Kit.

  2. A confined water session or open water skills dive no deeper than 50 fsw (15 msw) must be complete prior to penetration dives.

  3. This Program must include a minimum of 240 minutes of bottom timer to be completed within at least 6 wreck penetration dives.

  4.  

    Land Drills

    a. Basic use of safety lines and reels will be performed on land.

    b. Simulation of wire entanglement will be practiced.
